An accessibility audit is essential for understanding how accessible an existing building or facility is in actual use.

Vortex Access conducts built environment accessibility audits through structured on-site inspections of existing buildings, workplaces, healthcare facilities, hospitality assets, education buildings, public spaces and other operational environments. The audit identifies physical, sensory, communication and operational barriers that may prevent users from accessing, moving through or using the facility safely and independently.

The audit includes site measurements, photographic documentation, user route assessment and verification of key accessibility elements such as entrances, corridors, door widths, ramps, gradients, lifts, accessible toilets, signage, lighting, contrast, seating, counters and emergency egress provisions.

The findings help clients understand existing accessibility gaps and support upgrade planning, barrier removal, compliance improvement and better day-to-day usability for all users.
