ABOUT Faimeen Shah
As Managing Director, Faimeen leads Vortex Access, the accessibility division of Vortex Group alongside Vortex Fire, with the same client-focused approach that has defined his 25-year career in fire safety engineering consultancy and complex fire engineering analysis at Vortex Fire. Having worked across Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne and Dubai, he brings a genuinely international perspective as Vortex Access extends Vortex Group's established fire and life safety expertise into accessibility and inclusive design. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer (Fire Safety), a Fellow of Engineers Australia, and an active participant on NFPA, SFPE and ASTM standards committees.
